How to maintain the electric water heater?
Common sense of electric water heater maintenance
1. Clean the inner tank regularly. After long-term use, the trace impurities and minerals contained in the water will precipitate, if not cleaned regularly, it will affect the water quality and service life. Generally, the areas south of the Yangtze River can be cleaned once a year, and the areas to the north, especially near the Yellow River Basin, are generally best cleaned once every six months.
When cleaning the inner tank, turn off the power, open the sewage outlet, and rinse with water. Or get professional help.
2. Regular inspection at least once a year. Carefully detect and eliminate safety performance and other potential hidden dangers, and you can consult after-sales service for specific situations.
3. When not in use for a long time, turn off the power supply and empty the water storage in the inner tank. Refer to the product manual for specific methods.
4. In order to ensure the normal use of the water heater, the safety valve needs to be maintained at least once a month to ensure the normal pressure relief of the safety valve. For the specific method, please refer to the product manual.
Tips: Precautions for using water heaters
1. The water outlet must be opened when filling the water, and the water can be checked after the air in the inner tank is completely discharged.
2. The power must be cut off before emptying.
3. In closed installation, the water inlet valve must be open during heating.
4. When opening the valve, do not point the direction of the water to the human body.
