Reasons why the electric water heater is not energized:
1. Insufficient power supply voltage is one of the reasons why the water heater is not energized.
Troubleshooting method: Check whether there is an open circuit problem in the socket, power cord and power cord plug used by the water heater.
2. The power socket is broken, resulting in no power. Troubleshooting: Replace the power outlet.
3. Check the power board: check whether the fuse is disconnected (use a multimeter to measure the on-off), and whether the transformer is damaged (use a multimeter to measure the primary on-off). Troubleshooting: replace the fuse or replace the transformer.
4. There is no water in the water heater, which leads to dry burning, and the thermostat trips. Troubleshooting method: professional maintenance and temperature control reset.
5. The leakage protector of the water heater has tripped, causing the water heater to not be energized. Troubleshooting method: restart the water heater after reset.
The treatment method of the electric water heater is not energized:
Failure analysis:
There are many circuits involved in this fault, mainly including high and low voltage power supply circuits, crystal oscillator circuits, and reset circuits. The maintenance methods are described below.
Fault judgment:
First measure the output pin of 7805 with a multimeter. If there is a 5V power supply, it means that the reset circuit or the crystal oscillator circuit is faulty, and then measure whether the voltage of pin 4 of the main IC has 5V. If not, it means that the fault is in the reset circuit. If there is, it means that the fault is in the crystal oscillator circuit.
1. Crystal oscillator circuit fault inspection steps:
Check whether the resistance R206 is normal, if the above resistance is normal, here we will use the method of replacement to troubleshoot.
Remove the crystal oscillator (4MHz) and replace it with a crystal oscillator test machine of the same specification. If the crystal oscillator itself is damaged, the fault can be eliminated after replacing the good crystal oscillator. If it still cannot be turned on, it means that the main control IC has been damaged. Replace the main control IC of the same specification, and the power-on test machine is normal, then the fault is eliminated.
2. Steps to check the reset circuit fault:
First, use a multimeter to measure whether the voltage of pin 4 of the main IC is 5V. If it is, if the fault is not eliminated, it can be determined that the main IC is damaged, and the fault can be solved by replacing the main IC. If the measured voltage is 0V, it is necessary to check C225 and R205. If there is no problem with the above components, it can be determined that the main IC has been damaged, and the same type of IC can be replaced to eliminate the fault.
